Handicraft Group - Love in Action -
Praise the Lord for another amazing year of fellowship and teamwork.
Our aim remains the same: Primarily to reach out into the community for our Lord Jesus Christ and to offer friendship to anyone who would like to attend - or even just sit and watch!
We continue to support 'Jacob's Well', in Beverley with children's clothes to distribute around the world where needed - www.thejacobswell.org
We supply the 'Dorcas' group in Liverpool with premature baby clothes for neo-natal hospitals wherever they are required; also, * the 'Children In Distress' with various hand-crafted cards.
We supporting 'Caring for Life' Cookeridge nr. Leeds, with knitted soft toys. 'Caring for Life' do an amazing work looking after, each day of the year, vulnerable people in their 2 homes and 'self-supporting' working farm, as well as many homeless in the Leeds area. Currently they have a large shortfall as government funding ended. Please pray for them and the many volunteers. [Please take time to look at the page dedicated to this work. A big ‘thank you' to everyone. We have been remarkably blessed in being able to produce and supply a great amount of baby and children's clothes, which will be keeping needy children warm today in our land and overseas.

We recently received news from ‘Jacob's Well', in Beverley, regarding their Romanian driver who brought his truck over to England for its annual service and MOT.
He has now returned with a container of supplies.
